The Republic 3D Bike Shop™ allows you to visualize your design in 3D. Click and drag within the 3D space to rotate and reposition the bicycle. Click on each bicycle component to cycle through the available component options.

Click the fullscreen button to expand the 3D workspace to focus on your design.

When your design is complete, click +cart to continue to the shopping cart and checkout, or +share to share your design.

The Republic 3D Bike Shop requires Adobe Flash technology. If you do not have Flash installed or are using a device that does not meet the requirements for 3D, select the 2D button on the top of each build page to use the 2D static visualizer. If your device does not meet the requirements for the 3D Bike Shop, you may be asked to switch to the 2D static visualizer.

The coloring and modeling representations of the bikes in the 3D Bike Shop are designed to offer an immersive visualization tool. Make sure to browse the gallery of photographs as a companion to the 3D Bike Shop to get a comprehensive feel for the look of the colors and components.

building & delivery time

Depending on demand, your bike is built within a few days of receiving your order. Bikes are built and shipped on a first come, first served basis. By placing an order now, you will be placed in the build queue and your bike will be reserved for you. Current estimated build dates are located on each bike's build page.

All items featured on the site are in stock and available unless noted otherwise. If an item or component color is unavailable or backordered, you will be notified as soon as practical of any delay or unavailability.

Your bike is assembled in the USA in our distribution center in South Florida and transit time to you varies by distance. Please review our general shipping policy for estimated transit times.

required assembly upon arrival

Your bike is partially disassembled for shipment and packed in a heavyweight 7-layer shipping carton. Though packed for shipment, your Republic Bike will arrive approximately 90% assembled. Generally, assembly may require attaching pedals, front wheel, handlebars and adjustments. You'll need basic tools to get your bike built.

For proper assembly and safety, it is recommended to have the reassembly of your bicycle completed by a professional.

Choosing a right frame size is important for comfort and safety. Sizing is based on your body, fit and riding style.

Aristotle: In an effort to keep our bikes as affordable as we can, we have limited the frame sizes available. For lack of a more appropriate description, the Aristotle frame sizes roughly translate into a "large," "medium," "small" and "extra small." Please use the suggested guidelines to determine appropriate frame size before ordering. The standover height is the distance from the ground to the top bar of the bicycle. Your body proportions should affect your decision if you're between sizes.

For proper sizing and safety, you must have at least 1" of clearance when straddling the bicycle top tube.

Plato: Our Plato Dutch bike is designed to offer an upright, relaxed ride. The Plato is designed with an adjustable seatpost to accommodate a wide variety of rider heights.

Generally we suggested the Step-thru frame for riders 5'2" to 5'11". We recommend the Diamond frame for riders 5'7" to 6'.

are your bikes made by urban outfitters?

Though our bikes are also sold through Urban Outfitters in the USA, Republic Bike is a separate company. By placing an order on our website, you are purchasing directly through Republic Bike and not Urban Outfitters.

We've made our shipping and handling prices and policy as fair as possible, so you benefit from our low prices plus the convenience of delivery to your door.

Shipping within the Continental United States

Within the continental USA, we ship your bike and accessories by FedEx Ground service.

Depending on the destination, shipping will require between 2-8 business days. If you ordered two or more items, you may receive them in multiple boxes on different days.

Shipping to Alaska and Hawaii

We ship all items to all states, including Alaska and Hawaii. Shipments to Alaska and Hawaii require additional surcharges. Also, we ship our bikes and accessories by USPS Priority Mail service to Alaska and Hawaii. Please add items to the shopping cart to find out the most accurate shipping rates.

Shipping to Canada

We ship to Canada by FedEx International Economy service. Generally, this service takes between 5-8 days for delivery. The shipping fees do not include any duty, import tariff fees or sales taxes. These fees are the responsibility of the recipient and must be paid directly to the courier upon delivery.

When you’re ready to purchase, click add to cart next to the item. That puts the item in your shopping cart and takes you to the cart page, where you'll be able to view the items you've added to your cart. You can also change the quantity of each item you've selected or remove items, if you want. From your cart, you can either proceed to checkout or continue to shop. You can return to the shopping cart by any time by clicking cart on the page header.

sales tax

Sales tax is only applied to orders that are shipped to the State of Florida. Florida state sales tax is 6% (plus additional county surcharges where applicable). Shipping and handling charges are taxable in the State of Florida.

Orders placed in Florida are not subject to sales tax if the order is shipped outside of Florida.

The sales tax rate is subject to change at any time.

We use SSL to encrypt our web pages. SSL is the leading standard for encrypting and transmitting sensitive data over the web. When you see "https" rather than "http" in your browser's address window, you are exchanging encrypted data with our server. This will prevent outsiders from obtaining any credit card information or personal data as it is sent to our servers. This web site is secured using a sercure servier certificate.

order confirmations

Shortly after completion of placing your order, you will receive an email confirming that we have received your order. You will receive a second email when your order has shipped. Please save these email invoices for your records.

If you do not receive an email confirmation within 48hrs of placing your order, please contact us.

returns policy

Returns require a return authorization number for processing. A return authorization number can be obtained by emailing us at returns@republicbike.com. This return authorization number must be clearly marked on the outside of the package upon return. In order to offer our customers the lowest prices possible, we must have certain limits on our return policy in regards to shipping fees. Therefore, all shipping charges, outbound and return, are non-refundable. For items purchased with free-shipping, the current cost of shipping, of similar items without free-shipping, is non-refundable. Returns can only be accepted within 30 days from the purchase date. For backorder items, returns are accepted within 30 days from the shipped date. There are no restocking fees for returned items.

warranty

Republic Bike warrants the frame and fork of each new Republic Bike brand bicycle to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase. All other original components and all Republic Bike brand repair parts, replacement parts and accessories are warranted to be free from defects in material or workmanship for a period of sixty (60) days from the original date of purchase.

Limited Remedy

Unless otherwise provided, the sole remedy under the above warranty or any implied warranty is limited to the replacement of defective parts with those of equal or greater value at the sole discretion of Republic Bike. You will be responsible for labor costs associated with warranty replacements. IN NO EVENT SHALL REPUBLIC BIKE BE RESPONSIBLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, WHETHER BASED ON CONTRACT, WARRANTY, NEGLIGENCE, OR PRODUCT LIABILITY, OR ANY OTHER THEORY, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, PERSONAL INJURY DAMAGES, PROPERTY DAMAGE, OR ECONOMIC LOSSES.

Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.

EXCLUSIONS

THE ABOVE WARRANTY, OR ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY, DOES NOT COVER NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR, AND ALL WARRANTIES ARE VOID IF THE BICYCLE IS USED FOR OTHER THAN NORMAL ACTIVITIES. INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE FAILURE TO FOLLOW THE OWNER’S MANUAL USING THE BICYCLE FOR COMMERCIAL ACTIVITIES OR IN COMPETITIVE EVENTS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO BICYCLE RACING, BICYCLE MOTORCROSS RACING, STUNT RIDING, RAMP JUMPING OR SIMILAR ACTIVITIES, AND TRAINING FOR SUCH ACTIVITIES OR EVENTS. REPUBLIC BIKE MAKES NO OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THAT OF THE EXPRESS WARRANTIES STATED ABOVE.

Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
